But can you trust an app with your mental health data?<\/p><p>According to Linnet Taylor and Tineke Broer, &#8216;app safety&#8217; is currently treated as a very narrow concept. They aim to develop a new rating index for app safety that reflects the concerns of app users about how their mental health data are used.<\/p><p>The proposal has been awarded a \u20ac150,000 Proof of Concept grant from the European Research Council, which is a &#8216;top-up&#8217; grant intended to support excellent research that the ERC funds by funding further work.
