My research in the Digital Legal Studies network…

Focusses on the intersections of cybersecurity, privacy and private law. His research topics include the private enforcement of privacy and cybersecurity law, the European legal framework for cybersecurity and privacy, legal obligations to provide secure software and the legal requirements on the cybersecurity of digital information.

What I hope to achieve with my research is…

A better understanding of the legal cybersecurity framework. I want to create a better understanding of this framework by analyzing how the various legal obligations relate to each other, whether all the relevant cybersecurity risks are covered and how the various obligations can be enforced.

What I hope to achieve with my research is…

To better understand the legal cybersecurity framework of authentication and authenticity. I also want to explore the balance between cybersecurity and the accessibility of the exercise of data subjects’ rights.
