Hadassa noorda awarded a NIAs fellowship & recent publication

Congratulations to Digital Legal Lab member Hadassa Noorda on becoming part of the NIAS fellow cohort 2023-2024! She has been awarded a NIAS-Instituut GAK Fellowship. Her selected publications, as well as her participation to the NIAS Fellowship can be viewed here.
We would like to highlight one of her recent publications, which happens to be one of her selected publications for the NIAS Fellowship as well. In ‘Exprisonment: Deprivation of Liberty on the Street and at Home‘, Hadassa Noorda develops a concept she coined #Exprisonment, by which she refers to incapacitation measures short of imprisonment.
About Hadassa Noorda:
Hadassa Noorda is an assistant professor of criminal law at the University of Amsterdam. She works in the area of philosophy of criminal law. Prior to joining the University of Amsterdam, Hadassa was a postdoctoral researcher at NYU’s Center for Law and Philosophy, Columbia Law School, and Rutgers Institute for Law and Philosophy.
