Seminar on ‘Digitalisation of European Civil Justice Systems and Access to Justice’

On 16th June 2023, Radboud University will host a seminar on the Digitalisation of European Civil Justice Systems and Access to Justice.

This seminar forms part of a seminar series organised by the research collaboration ‘Institutions for Conflict Resolution / Conflict Resolution Institutions’ (COI) between Utrecht University, Leiden University and Radboud University. The COI research group organises seminars on topics related to institutions for conflict resolution. Here, international speakers present their work, followed by questions and discussions. Each of the three universities hosts a seminar on a rotating basis. Interested researchers are invited to join the seminars in person, on the campus of the host institution, or online via Microsoft Teams.

The upcoming seminar on the ‘Digitalisation of European Civil Justice Systems and Access to Justice’ is the fifth seminar of the seminar series. It will be held by Dr. Dory Reiling. Dr. Reiling  was a senior judge of the Amsterdam District Court  and a senior judicial reform specialist at the World Bank. She was actively involved in designing and building digital   procedures for the civil courts in the Netherlands.  She is the Lead Reporter on the European Law Institute’s project on Digitalisation of Civil Justice in Europe.
