TILTing Perspectives Conference 2024 - Call for Papers!

Join us at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) for the 8th TILTing Perspectives Conference themed “Looking back, moving forward: Re-assessing technology regulation in digitalized worlds” on July 8-10, 2024, coinciding with TILT’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

This conference marks a pivotal moment to assess decades of technology regulation and its impact on our lives and digital worlds. We invite submissions that delve into diverse themes including AI, data governance, regulation in digital markets, cybersecurity, and more.

Conference Tracks:

  • Track A: ‘AI’ as a knowledge-making power in the majority worlds
  • Track B: Problematizing ‘Data Governance’
  • Track C: Regulation and Innovation in Digital Markets
  • Track D: Regulating Sectors in Transition: Energy, Finance & Health
  • Track E: AI and Data Protection
  • Track F: The Evolving Cybersecurity Landscape and Regulatory Approaches in Cybersecurity
  • Deep-Dive Panel (Virtual): Teaching about AI & Society

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2024

Submission Guidelines: Extended abstracts, full papers (optional), and proposals for panels/interactive workshops are welcome. Accepted full papers will be considered for publication in the TechReg journal.
